While I support births of all kinds, there will always be a special place in my heart for home births. 🥹❤️
I mean, if your baby is happy to eat under a blanket and you’re coordinated enough to do that, all the power to you. But if you’re like me and had a heck of a time LEARNING to breastfeed, a cover just may not be an option.

Birth is incredible.
We are made for it. 
We are hard workers.
11 years ago I witnessed birth for the first time. 
I watched my sister go from maiden to mother, finding her strength as she went through induction, laboured all night, and birthed a 10 lb baby (alllll unmedicated, might I add). It lit a fire in me
